Passed the Level 1 Odor Recognition Test of the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW.) The target odor was Sweet Birch and the test showed that she could identify a hidden source with speed and accuracy. She was then eligible to compete in sanctioned NACSW Nose Work trials. K-9 Nose Work is an exciting new activity and sport for dogs that can be done at many levels. It's loads of fun, uses up bully energy, and can help build focus, confidence and a great relationship. Nose Work is for all ages and stages from puppies to seniors. Puffin is over 11 years old in this photo and Nose Work gave her a new lease on life!

Bosun gets his NW1 Title!
Congratulations on a job well done. Way to represent the bully breed! Bosun has his NW1 (Nose Work 1) title and has passed his Odor Recognition Test for Anise, which is a qualifier to be able to enter an NW2 trial.

Nose Work is a fun to learn activity and sport builds confidence and focus in many dogs. It provides a safe way to keep dogs engaged and tired out through mental and olfactory exercise. People have a great time learning to read their dog's searching behavior and seeing what a blast their dogs are having.
K9 Nose Work® starts with getting your dog excited about using his nose to seek out a favorite treat or toy reward hidden in one of several boxes. Nose work then builds challenges and expands the scope of the search while keeping it fun. Challenges can eventually include container, vehicle, interior and exterior searches.
Dogs and owners can enjoy K9 Nose Work® at home, out and about or when traveling. Competition is another option - and Bull Terriers have shown that they can succeed and thrive at trials.
